چکیده

Abstract Introduction Insufficient seal of apex is a significant reason for an endodontist’s disappointment. The materials root-end filling utilized ought to forestall departure possible pollutants into periapical areas. objective this analysis was compare the fixing capacity three materials: white mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), Portland cement (PC), and Biodentine. This analyzed through test checking dye leakage. Materials Methods Thirty human teeth having one root were subjected instrumentation followed by gutta-percha obturation. An apical pit readied material. tooth samples then grouped trial bunches: Group I, Biodentine; II, MTA; III, PC. Root-end pits in bunches loaded-up with exploratory materials. kept India ink duration 72 hours. degree color infiltration estimated help stereomicroscope at 16× amplification. Color entrance observed whole vitro. Results sequelae inspection found that Biodentine shows least leakage compared MTA Conclusion less microleakage

Comparison of the Microleakage of Octacalcium Phosphate and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate for Furcal Perforation Repair: An In-Vitro Study

Objective: Furcal perforation is an undesirable complication that may occur during root canal therapy and seriously compromises the prognosis of endodontic treatment. The prognosis of furcal perforation repair depends on the prevention of bacterial infection of the perforation site. Thus, use of a biocompatible material for complete sealing of the perforation site is critically important. Thi...

Comparison of microleakage in three different retrograde cavity preparations with Mineral Trioxide Aggregate as filling material

Background: The apical seal is the single most important factor in determining the success of surgical endodontics, the aim of this study was to compare the sealing ability of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate in three different cavity designs. Materials and Methods: Thirty extracted human single-rooted teeth were divided into three groups of ten teeth per group, a retrograde cavity preparation was ca...

A comparative analysis of microleakage of three root end filling materials – an in vitro study

GIC, microleakage, Miracle Mix, MTA, root-end filling. Abstract The main objective of a root end filling material is to provide an apical seal that prevents the movement of bacteria and the diffusion of bacterial products from the root canal system into periapical tissues. The aim of this study was to compare the microleakage of three root end filling materials Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA),...

Comparison of the sealing ability of mineral trioxide aggregate and Portland cement used as root-end filling materials.

Inadequate apical seal is the major cause of surgical endodontic failure. The root-end filling material used should prevent egress of potential contaminants into periapical tissue. The purpose of this study was to compare the sealing ability of four root-end filling materials: white mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), gray MTA, white Portland cement (PC) and gray PC by dye leakage test. Ninety-si...

Evaluation of the Apical Sealability of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate and Portland Cement as Root Canal Filling Cements: An in Vitro Study

OBJECTIVE One of the principle purposes of root canal obturation is to obtain hermetic sealing of the root canal system. According to the development of technology, many materials are now used in root canal filling. An in vitro dye leakage study was performed to evaluate the apical sealability of White-colored Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (WMTA) and Gray-colored Portland Cement (GPC) when used al...
